Stainless steel water collection weir

Stainless steel water collection troughs are widely used in the outlet sections of sedimentation tanks and backwash water systems of filtration tanks in water supply and drainage projects, serving as key equipment for evenly collecting clear overflow water. In horizontal flow sedimentation tanks, bar-type or toothed-type collection troughs are commonly employed, while circular clarifiers utilize circumferential or radial troughs. For secondary sedimentation tanks in wastewater treatment plants, circular water collection troughs are typically adopted. Additionally, these troughs are applied in scenarios such as water treatment plants, domestic and industrial wastewater treatment projects, power plant cooling tower water treatment systems, grit chambers, and preliminary sedimentation tanks, facilitating the uniform collection of supernatant to ensure stable water quality output.

Product Introduction

The stainless steel water collection weir is an overflow device used in conjunction with sedimentation tanks in water supply and drainage engineering. It can be categorized into U-shaped water collection troughs and L-shaped water collection troughs based on shape; and into serrated triangular weirs and orifice weirs based on discharge form. The serrated triangular weir features a simple structure, convenient installation, adjustable weir plate height, and a wide range of applications. The orifice water collection trough is suitable for pools with relatively stable water levels. The U-shaped weir is primarily used in water supply projects to collect surface water overflowing from the outlet end of horizontal flow sedimentation tanks, which then flows into the outlet trough for further processing. The L-shaped water collection trough is mainly used in drainage projects to collect water that overflows around primary and secondary sedimentation tanks after passing through baffles. The trough body is fabricated from high-quality stainless steel plates using large CNC equipment for shearing, cold forming, and welding. The stainless steel plate thickness typically ranges from 3 to 6mm, offering characteristics such as high strength, precision, and corrosion resistance.

Technical Advantage
High strength and corrosion resistance
Stainless steel material has good corrosion resistance, and can maintain a smooth surface even in harsh environments such as humidity, acidity, and alkalinity, eliminating the cost of rust removal and corrosion prevention and the tedious labor of regular cleaning.
Adjustable horizontal accuracy
The collection tank adopts advanced manufacturing technology, and the high-precision level during installation can ensure the quality and quantity of the effluent water; Even when the balance of the pool body is affected by natural settlement, high precision levels can still be maintained through simple adjustments, solving the drawbacks of traditional water collection tanks.
Reliable welding quality
The welding part is protected by argon arc welding, and after welding, it is acid washed and passivated. The weld rate should be greater than 85%, and the surface should be smooth and flat, without defects such as delamination or cracks.
Equipment Selection

Compliance with standard specifications: Equipment design, manufacturing, and installation should comply with GB 50013-2018 "Design Standard for Outdoor Water Supply", GB 50014-2021 "Design Standard for Outdoor Drainage", and relevant stainless steel processing and manufacturing standards.
