Product Introduction
The electrodialysis desalination device utilizes molecular weight differences to achieve phase free directional separation, which is significantly energy-saving compared to traditional thermal concentration. It operates at room temperature to protect thermosensitive components and is the core technology for material purification, wastewater reduction, and resource recovery.
Under the action of an external DC electric field, cations migrate towards the cathode and pass through the cation exchange membrane, while anions migrate towards the anode and pass through the anion exchange membrane. The alternating arrangement of anion/cation exchange membranes separates the device into a fresh water chamber and a concentrated water chamber: ions in the fresh water chamber are removed to achieve desalination, while ions are received in the concentrated water chamber to achieve concentration.
