The folded plate flocculation device (also known as the folded plate flocculation tank) is a hydraulic stirring high-efficiency flocculation device, widely used in water purification of water plants, upgrading and transformation of urban sewage treatment plants, industrial wastewater treatment (printing and dyeing, chemical, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, etc.), as well as complex raw water treatment scenarios such as high turbidity, high algae, and high chromaticity. It generates hydraulic shear through the scaling and turning of water flow between the folded plates, promoting the collision and flocculation of colloidal particles, providing favorable conditions for subsequent sedimentation or filtration processes, especially suitable for difficult to treat water quality scenarios such as large fluctuations in raw water quality, low temperature and turbidity, and high algae.

Product Introduction

The folded plate flocculation device consists of a tank body and a folded plate assembly. By placing a certain number of alternating inverted folded plates in the flocculation tank, a tortuous waterway with the same or different widths is formed. The water flow repeatedly contracts, expands, and bends between the folded plates, generating a large number of small eddies and accelerating the collision of suspended particles in the water. Under the action of flocculants, large flocculants gradually form and settle down. According to the direction of water flow, it can be divided into two categories: vertical flow (also known as herringbone flap flocculation tank, water flows back up and down, energy utilization is concentrated) and horizontal flow (water flows back horizontally); According to the arrangement of folded plates, they can be divided into same wave folded plates (adjacent folded plates have synchronized peaks and valleys, and the water flow is tortuous) and different wave folded plates (adjacent folded plates have staggered peaks and valleys, and the water flow is scaled alternately); Divided into single channel and multi-channel based on the number of channels. The commonly used folded plate materials are stainless steel, UPVC, ABS engineering plastic, and fiberglass, etc., and the applicable water temperature generally does not exceed 40 ℃ (PVC material).

Small head loss
The attached wall jet effect formed in the transition zone of the folded plate reduces vortex energy loss. The continuous design of water flow connection between units and the control of the smoothness of the folded plate surface reduce frictional resistance, and the total head loss generally does not exceed 0.35m.
Strong adaptability to water quality
It has good adaptability to low temperature and low turbidity water, high turbidity water, changes in water quality during drainage periods, as well as complex raw water with high algae and high chromaticity.
Energy saving and consumption reducing
It can save about 5% to 10% of chemical dosage, without the need for mechanical mixing equipment, and has low operating energy consumption.
Modular structure
Adopting a modular design, quick assembly is achieved through bolt connections, and each component can be independently replaced or adjusted. Installation and maintenance are convenient, and maintenance are easy.
